In this workshop — which is so comprehensive that we call it a Flower School — Val demystifies the art and science of forcing spectacular blooms INDOORS using her globally sourced and superior-sized bulbs for a series of class projects.

Sat. Nov. 9 — For COMMERCIAL GROWERS who are considering adding forced bulbs and tabletop bulb gardens to their product lineup for “shoulder season” sales.
Val shares everything about when/how she orders bulbs/containers/supplies, how/why she uses both dormant Dutch and Southern hemisphere amaryllis bulbs, why/how she uses only a specific variety of Paperwhite, how to force them into bloom (and hold them) for holiday sales, plus merchandising tips and sales outlets. For the first time, she delves into how she forces hardy spring bulbs and uses them in fragrant tabletop bulb gardens for early spring sales. Growers come from all over the country to this workshop -- there's plenty of airbnbs and reasonable hotels close by, between Lexington and Winchester, KY.
Sat. Nov. 23 — For ALL FLOWER LOVERS who want to learn how to create -- and take home -- GLORIOUS indoor bulb gardens that last throughout the holiday season to use in their own homes or give as special one-of-a-kind long lasting gifts.
Val teaches you how to create your own all-in-one amaryllis forcing kits, magazine worthy ready-to-bloom amaryllis bulb gardens, specialty Paperwhite bulb gardens (featuring her favorite hard-to-find non-stinky Paperwhites) and a wonderful all-in-one forcing kit made with fragrant heirloom spring bulbs that will bloom in the depths of winter.
All supplies are included. Also provided is a yummy light breakfast and lunch along with Val’s exclusive workshop notebook, which makes it easy to refer back to everything she covers throughout the day.
The fine print
Cancellations are non-refundable and regretfully, we cannot transfer cancelled registrations to other workshops or future dates. However, guests may transfer their registration to a friend or family member.
