Known for strong and self-supporting stems (no drooping flowers, even after rain), and prolific, FRAGRANT blooms. Mid-season bloomer also withstands heat better than many other cultivars.
The lush, bushy plant will become 36-40” tall and wide after a few years.
We offer ONLY large 3-5+ eye roots. Peonies rarely bloom the first spring after planting but will reward you with a few blooms in year 2, more in year 3 and MANY more from that point on … in fact, they’ll bloom every year for DECADES!

HOW TO GROW
We include complete growing advice with every order, but for now, please plan to plant your peony roots in the ground right away in a spot that receives full sun and has good drainage. In very hot climates, peonies don’t mind some afternoon shade.
If you can’t plant them right away, keep the roots in their bag in a cool, dark and dry spot. A cool garage should work great. But don’t forget about them — they need to be planted before the ground freezes.
