Cosmos (in deep 6-packs)

$12.00
SOLD OUT

Just like Zinnias, our specialty varieties of Cosmos are incredibly happy flowers, easily blooming on and on and ON through summer, right up to frost. The secret is to cut long stems every chance you get or deadhead regularly to keep flowers going.

This year we have my two favorite classic whites for you, along with 4 other complementary varieties that will bring MAGIC to your flower borders or cutting garden. Mix and match to your heart’s content.

OUR 2025 SELECTIONS

  • Afternoon White - Bred specifically for cut flower production, with more substantive flowers and stems, producing 2-4” blooms on strong, straight stems. Earlier to flower. 36-48”

  • Cupcakes Blush - Called ‘Cupcakes’ because its blooms look like fluted cupcake wrappers! Blush blooms (yummy!) held upright on strong stems. Some flowers also have tufted centers. 36-48”

  • Apricotta - Delicate blush, apricot and rose blooms on vigorous, densely branching plants. An improvement over ‘Apricot Lemonade’. 36-38”

  • Versailles Blush - Developed especially for cutting! Blooms are 2 1/2” in the palest, blush pink. Strong, straight stems withstand winds and rain. Early blooming. 40-48”

  • Xsenia - Terracotta rose color, fades to a warm antique rose. More compact than our other cut flower Cosmos but very worth growing for its beautiful flowers. 24-28”

  • Fizzy White - Early blooming pure classic white with large blooms and unique tufted centers. Prolific blooms have lovely fine pleats and zigzag edges, held high on tall stems. 40-54”

TO GROW

When plants are about 12” tall, cut off the top few inches of the growing stems, right above a leaf node. This causes the plants to branch, which creates SO many more stems and blooms.

Space plants 6-12” apart in full sun.
