Marigolds (in deep 6-packs)

$12.00
SOLD OUT

Tall cutting varieties of Marigolds have REALLY gained popularity in a big way over the past few years and no wonder! Impossibly cheerful in the garden, pollinators love them, they last forever in bouquets and it’s SO MUCH FUN (for kiddos and adult kids) to string the heads together and hang across doorways or make marigold necklaces for a party.

Marigolds are edible too! Use the flowers to dress up salads and desserts, or in cooked egg or rice dishes. Flavor is floral with hints of citrus and spice. The flower base is bitter, so just pull the petals off.

They’re a top seller to floral designers too!

OUR 2025 SELECTIONS

  • Giant Orange - Large 3” flower heads sit atop sturdy plants. These giant marigolds are prolific producers for cuts as well as excellent garden performers. 36-40”

  • Coco Gold F1 - Part of the fabulous cut flower ‘Coco’ series, this is a great transition color, between the deep oranges and yellows. 36”

  • Coco Yellow F1 - Known for their full, double blooms in yellow and gold hues, often with a soft orange undertone. 36”

  • Oriental Yellow - Beautiful yellow ball-shaped blooms, great stem length and vigorous plants. Slightly shorter than the ‘Coco’ series; I love its unique round blooms. 34”

HOW TO GROW

When plants are 12” tall, be sure to snip off the top few inches of each growing stem — you’ll get SO many more stems and flowers if you do! Deadhead spent flower to keep more blooms coming on.

Space plants 9-12” apart in full sun. Ht: 36-40”+
