Lisianthus (in deep 6-packs)

$18.00
SOLD OUT

Lisanthus are MAGNIFICENT extremely long-lasting fragrance free flowers! Highly sought after by florists and in-the-know home gardeners alike.

In the floral industry, it’s well known that the Japanese grow the FINEST Lisianthus in the world and once again we’re SO excited to have some of them for you. They are spectacular!

The blooms are AMAZING — huge, ruffled, on tall strong stems. They’re honestly like nothing you’ve ever seen. Our source is the first American supplier to be able to get them for commercial flower farmers (thank you, Farmer Bailey!) and we’re so happy to share them with you.

*** This year we’re listing the Lisianthus bloom groups, which tell you in what order your Lisianthus will flower. Group 1 flowers first, followed by 2 and 3. ***

OUR 2025 SELECTIONS

  • Celeb 2 Madonna, Celeb 2 Apricot and Celeb 1 Neo Beige - Celebs dominate the high-end Japanese cut flower market and for good reason! ‘Madonna’ is the most amazing color! SO glad to be able to have it back in the lineup! ‘Apricot’ and ‘Neo Beige’ are in the sought-after blush and apricot palette that floral designers just can’t get enough of. As a Group 1, ‘Neo Beige’ should be the first to bloom of all the varieties we offer.

  • Voyage 2 Light Apricot - ‘Voyage’ has become the American Industry standard for Lisianthus and ‘Light Apricot’ was voted Cut Flower of the Year by the Assoc. of Specialty Cut Flower Growers in 2020. 3” decadent ruffled blooms.

  • Wedding 2 Kiss - NEW! Lots of double medium-size flowers with beautiful, waviness to its petals. Holds up to high heat. ‘Kiss’ is the top selling white Lisianthus in Japan.

  • Elegance 3 Champagne - ‘Elegance’ is an entirely NEW series from the breeders of the best Japanese Lisianthus, so without a doubt the flowers will be big, double and luscious! As a Group 3, it should be the latest to bloom, extending the amount of time you can enjoy Lisianthus.

TO GROW

Space plants 5-9” apart in full sun. Ht: 25-30+”. Fertilize after every weeding. Harvest stems when 2-3 blooms are open — they’ll last 2 weeks easily in your vase. Plants appreciate some support, and we grow them with netting.

Lisianthus like to be planted when soil temperatures are still a bit on the cool side. They may not look like they’re growing at first — our plants are already 4 months old —but this is when they send down a strong root system to support their beautiful blooms in the high heat of summer.

Deadhead your first round of blooms hard to get a another flush of blooms in the fall.
