We pot up 3 of our HUGE 36-38+cm size soon-to-bloom Peruvian Amaryllis in this stunning 12” compote and add in lots of bright green reindeer moss OR living clump moss. Regardless which Amaryllis fills it, this garden is a STANDOUT, as the giant bulbs send up wave after wave of blooms.
The compote doesn’t have a drainage hole so after it’s served its time as the amazing vessel for these long-blooming Amaryllis, it makes a great fruit/vegetable bowl or an excellent home to a lush tabletop garden of ferns or succulents. The reindeer moss is also perfect to reuse with ferns or succulents (or any potted plant for that matter!). If your bulb garden comes with living clump moss, it can be planted outside in a shady spot in your garden once the weather warms up.
