‘Raspberry Charm' is highly prized by gardeners and commercial flower farmers alike because it combines extraordinary, vibrant color with flawless garden performance.
Rich, intensely luminous raspberry-pink to deep raspberry-red 5-7” blooms shine like a bright beacon in full sunlight, but shift to a softer, warmer tone when brought indoors.
Uniquely known to sometimes produce both semi-double and full-double flowers on the same plant … and with a long vase life of 7 to 10 days, it is widely considered a flagship variety in premium floral design.
While its famous sibling, 'Coral Charm', is grown on a massive commercial scale globally, 'Raspberry Charm' remains relatively rare and hard to source. Yes, it was hard to find, but I HAD to have it for you!
Fragrance: Highly reminiscent of roses
Bloom Time: Early- to mid-season
Height: 32-36” carries its 5-7” blooms proudly on strong, thick, upright stems, without needing stakes or cages
HOW TO GROW
We include complete growing advice with every order but for now, plan to plant your peony roots in the ground right away in a spot that receives full sun and has good drainage. In very hot climates, peonies don’t mind some afternoon shade.
If you can’t plant them right away, keep the roots in their bag in a cool, dark and dry spot. A cool garage should work great. But don’t forget about them — they need to be planted before the ground freezes.
Peonies thrive in Zones 3 to 8.
